The panel is a voluntary not-for-profit group which works in partnership with the North West Leeds Division of West Yorkshire Police. Members are mostly police vetted/trained volunteers.
The panel meet regularly with the police and attend community events where they give advice on crime prevention and provide links to the police. Crime prevention products can be purchased from the panel at discount prices.
